Futbol Fever is a fully air-conditioned state of the art indoor soccer facility in West Kendall. We offer a multitude of services including field rentals, youth training academy, birthday parties and fitness programs. We are located north of Tamiami Airport, close to the Turnpike and have ample parking available. We have designed this facility to provide the ultimate experience for everyone who walks in our doors. We have a top of the line sound system, multiple TVs, a large projector, and a FIFA Lounge that guests can enjoy before or after their game. Our goal with opening this facility was to be able to offer another option to the community to enjoy playing the beautiful game while building relationships and long lasting memories.
Meet OUR TEAM
Christopher Betancourt
The name’s Chris, better known as Criztofferson on Instagram (follow me). Growing up in a Colombian household and playing soccer at an early age molded me into a die-hard El Pibe Valderrama fan. What struck me most about his persona was not only his creativity and offensive contribution, but his hair. I always wanted my hair to look like his. Although I was never able to achieve the look, it did spark my interest in hair. All throughout high school and college I dedicated most of my time to learning and mastering the art of cutting hair, as well as creating a strong network that would later allow me to turn my passion into a full time career. Once I felt accomplished in my field I decided it was time to explore a long lost passion of mine, soccer. Since becoming a professional soccer player was out of the question, I decided to go with the next best thing, owning an indoor soccer facility. This thought quickly became a reality when my good college friend, Ricky Ramirez, came to get a haircut at the barbershop and expressed the same interest and shortly after that, Futbol Fever was born.

I was born and raised here in Miami, FL. I developed my love for the game of Futbol at an early age and played at local clubs Cutler Ridge and Strike Force growing up. I attended Florida International University where I received my bachelors in Psychology and then went on to get my Masters in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University. Most of my professional career, I have overseen and managed college athletic facilities at FIU as well as Florida Gulf Coast University. I have always had the dream to one day open an indoor soccer facility where I could implement everything I had learned while also making it truly unique. One conversation with my long time friend Chris that had a similar dream, led us on the path to taking a leap of faith in an uncertain time during the pandemic and opening Futbol Fever. My main mission with Futbol Fever was to open a facility where children and adults alike could create great memories enjoying the game they love and establishing ourselves as a long lasting part of the local Futbol community.

My passion for Futbol started at a young age. Playing for recreational and competitive academies in Miami-Dade County, I always knew I would be involved in the sport. It wasn't until the 2010 South Africa World Cup, watching with my father, where we saw the incredible last-minute goal by Landon Donovan to take USA past the group stage that I knew the sport would be part of my life forever. A father of 3, including a competitive Futbol and Futsal player, and coming from a family of teachers in our community -- I enjoy every moment I get helping teach that same love and dedication for the sport to others. As General Manager of Futbol Fever, I am committed to provide the best experience to our customers and players and hope to continue growing the sport in our community.
